The play area is located alongside the Village Hall.  It was built in 2010 when Laughton-en-le-Morthen Parish Council, with the help of a small community group, was successful in obtaining grant funding to put a new play area on this site. It is very popular and suitable for children aged 2 - 15 years old. It is used, not only by our parishioners, but also by visitors from surrounding parishes. The play equipment is maintained by Laughton-en-le-Morthen Parish Council. It is regularly inspected. Though much of the play equipment is designed for children to play independently, children should be supervised by adults at all times.
