VILLAGE HALL CARETAKER

It is looking to appoint a friendly, energetic, and reliable individual with a range of practical skills for the role of Caretaker to join our team and contribute to the smooth running of the Village Hall.

The successful applicant will have a range of duties and should be self-motivated, dependable, and trustworthy and able to work under their own initiative to prioritise workloads.

Responsibilities include looking after the safety and security of the building, minor maintenance, and repairs, ensuring the day-to-day cleanliness of the premises, preparing and tidying the hall pre and post bookings. The role will involve some lifting and laying out of chairs and tables.

The post is part time (6 hours per week) and permanent (subject to a period of successful probation). The hours will predominately be worked on a Tuesday and Friday each week, must be flexible to carry out additional hours to fit with Village Hall bookings where required.

We are looking for the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.

Salary: £11.74. A premium will be paid for any hours worked after 9.00pm.
